What Do You Put In Your Coffee?

Coffee and Milk

Time for another poll…

What do you put in your coffee. All the coffee tasters in the world confidently say that coffee should be drunk black. When they line up to taste test coffee (known as ‘cupping’) they sip from a row of small glasses, each with a little black coffee.

But most people around the world add something. Milk, cream, sugar, honey, cinnamon, whiskey, brandy, etc etc.

Here at GetIn2Coffee we add milk – nothing else – just milk. But should we? Besides voting in the poll, how about throwing in some extra additives in the comments?

  • I usually add a spoonful of non-dairy creamer, and fourteen packets of Splenda. Yes, fourteen. I can’t stand the taste of black coffee for some reason, but I do love coffee in general.

  • 14? Daaaaaang. Go for the halfy half myself. Not sure if they still do, but Fatapples in El Cerrito used to offer heavy manufacturing cream at their togo coffee bar. That, right there, was amazing!

  • Vanilla soy milk. No, it’s not perfect, but it’s a vegetarian thing. Not to say when I go to Starbucks that I don’t jump for the half and half, but not everyday.

Fourteen??? Love just sugar sometimes, when I really want it to hit the bloodstream.
